As you all know I was recently at the launch of the Christmas range for Lush… And while I was there I decided to pick up the three bath items in the Halloween range. I always feel the Halloween range gets a little overlooked so I’ve decided to post about them all on their own!
First up is the very cute sootball which is reminiscent of some of the characters in the Studio Ghibli productions. The website description is: “Let this surprising little bath bomb spirit you away into a golden, lustre-filled bath.
Don’t worry, Soot Ball won’t turn your bath water black – instead we’ve filled this bath bomb with radiant golden lustre, to feel as though you’re bathing in luxurious liquid gold. The olibanum (frankincense) is known for its calming and grounding effect on the mind, whilst the burnt caramel scent of tonka absolute and earthy sandalwood oil together create a sweet, spicy fragrance that wafts through the steam.“
Secondly is the Pumkin which almost seems like a rip-off of their Mumkin bubble bar from the Mothers day range. The description on the website of this is: “Crumble under a running tap to turn your bath water a vivid, rusty orange colour, creating mounds of sweet scented bubbles. With ylang ylang oil and orange flower absolute to leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed. Pumkin shares the comforting and Autumnal fragrance of our Figs and Leaves soap, so the two will be great to use together in the bath.“
Last but not least is the Lord of Misrule ballistic. I love the smell of this as I don’t think Lush have anything else it compares to. It’s the one I am most looking forward to using – and not just because it is the only one without a face! The website description is: “This bath bomb, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, has a strange and magnificent fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to reveal a wine coloured centre, with the added sweetness of the world’s first fair trade vanilla absolute, perfectly balanced by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil.“
Which of these products would you most like to try? What have been your favourite Lush products from years past?
