Review: Becca Luminous Skin Colour Ultra Sheer Foundation

Becca Luminous Skin colour Ultra Sheer Foundation

I was sent this for consideration by a very kind PR. I’d never tried any Becca products prior to this so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have to be honest and say that this is not a product I would use purely for the fact that I love medium to full coverage foundations. That aside, this is a product that I would love to love!

Review: Becca Luminous Skin Colour Ultra Sheer Foundation Porcelain

I’ve worn this around the house a few days to get a feel for it. It glides on beautifully and because it is so sheer I feel like it is easier to colour match than many other foundations. It leaves my skin with a beautiful healthy glow to it and it doesn’t dry my skin out at all. I know it’s not something most people factor in – but the smell of this is *amazing*! Even though it has all those positives, as you can see from the pictures above this really is ultra sheer and therefore isn’t a product that suits me as I need to cover my redness. This foundation gives less coverage than any tinted moisturiser or BB cream that I have used so that gives you an idea of just how sheer it is!

I feel like this would be an amazing foundation for someone with flawless skin or for someone young who is just starting out and doesn’t need full coverage. It gives such a beautiful glow that I really wish it was for me… 😦

Would you wear a foundation that is this sheer or do you go for something with more coverage? Have you tried any other Becca products that you would recommend?

  1. It sounds lovely apart from its sheerness. I don’t think I would wear a foundation that is that sheer.

  2. I like a light coverage and even have used the odd BB cream, so it might be something right up my street 🙂
